KAAST PLATE ROLLER RBD-4

Four-roll plate rolls are used for high-precision rolling of thick plates with up to 3" material thickness. The four roll slip rollers allow for pre-bending of sheet metal. While eliminating the need to remove, spin, and reinsert material to avoid flat spots.

The KAAST series of 4-roll plate roller machines RBD-4HD and RBD-HL roll sheet metal into shapes such as cylinders and cones for wind-power, HVAC ducts, construction, shipbuilding, tanks, trucks, and more. The upper roller is fixed in place, the lower roller move upwards to clamp onto the workpiece, and the side rollers move up and down at an oblique angle to adjust the shape and size of the rolled part. Model RBD-4HD plate roller features motorized top and side rollers, and our RBD-4H and HL features a motorized top and bottom roller.

Where applicable the planetary gears are mounted directly on the rollers, the transmission of force on these rolling machines for metal takes place with minimal loss of force or power. Simultaneous use of torsion bars and hydraulic units ensures accuracy and enables flexibility. With our optional extras for the plate and slip rolls you can upgrade the level of automation, which will raise your productivity and flexibility.
